One thing I have not done yet in life is ride a motorcycle and I’ll assure you it’s not because I don’t want to. One of the many things on my bucket list, there’s a sense of freedom I imagine you get when you’re riding down the road with your wind in your hair on a Yamaha and with no cares in the world. Perhaps a little intimidating in the look department, this bike is one I would love to hop on and cruise around on!
The DM-014 Urban Fighter is the name and its the newest addition to the team at Droog Motos hand built motorcycles. They essentially stripped a Kawasaki Z1000, removed all of its elements, and then turned it into some sort of urban bike that has a streetfighter theme to it. I can certainly say I’ve never seen such an intriguing motorcycle in my life.
There are many valuable features on this bike that I would like to point out. Such as the geometric tank cover that gives it it’s tough bad boy appeal. Along with a bullet proof steel tracker plate located at the nose of the bike. It has LED lights and a digital speedometer behind the shield that aids the rider in knowing how fast they are traveling. Moreover, there is a fuel cell that is hand made, custom aluminum inserts for the wheels, and front / rear LED lights. If that wasn’t enough it also has front and rear suspension and entirely adjustable rear seats!
For the sake of design, they did remove the subframe to ensure the adjustable custom seat would work, as well as updating electrical parts. The Urban Fighter also reps the Continental TKC80 tires that can handle rough surfaces and pavement. Sounds like the best!
