It’s a very important thing the Guardbot does not have turrets, because landscape or having less it generally does not really stop the damned thing. With two ‘sight’ and a bulbous tire-shaped body, the Guardbot is a security bot that rolls around on land, bounces off bumpy landscape, glides through snow or fine sand, and floats on drinking water to get from point A to B, surveilling everything it can around the corner.
Created for security monitoring, the Guardbot, say its designers, has applications in not only security, but also in athletics broadcasting, and can become a part of the action as it rolls around on the turf. It includes a 25-hour power life, two surveillance cameras, a mike, a Gps navigation, and a gyroscope to keep it upright as it rolls around the area, monitoring and broadcasting, no subject the location, the image surface, the elements, or enough time of day. The price tag on such security? Up to a $100,000.
