Amongst the many flavors that we saw at the CES 2012, one classic format still seemed like the preference of most premium audio-lovers were the floor standing speaker systems. It seems to be the trend that will follow for quite some time in the year, as the Lansche Audio unveils its Model No. 5.1 three-way passive floor standing loud speaker system which would include a new version of the Corona tweeter, mid-range driver, crossover design, and of course the new set of modern cabinet finishes, which features a golden yellow and a classic satin veneer of exotic woods.

The design philosophy of the 5.1 set has been to reproduce music as naturally as it was when generated. To ensure that, the construction has reduced restrictions on dynamic range, frequency spectrum, or rather reproducibility. It then gets the touch of a live performance, and makes the listeners feel as if they have been just sitting there listening to it all. For bringing in this level of realism, the equipment involved is the single 4-inch cone driver for mid-range frequencies, the 2 of 8.7-inch long throw drivers for the much needed bass support, the most advanced of all the setup, the Corona Plasma tweeter for mid-range frequencies. From what can be simplified, the zero-mass base of the tweeter uses the surrounding air as its primary module of dispersing sound. With mid-range frequencies, it works the best in terms of reproduction
