One of my favorite things inside the world is stumbling across a design that’s both innovative yet so painfully obvious, it makes me marvel why nobody concept of it before. A staircase handrail serves two essential purposes. It A. Acts as a barrier between flights of stairs, so that you don’t by accident fall over and harm yourself, and B. more importantly, it offers you a resting platform in your hands, permitting you to take support as you climb down. Here’s my question. What if you can reinterpret the word ‘guide’ as something that’s more encompassing and isn’t confined to one’s hands? Staircase handrail brands like Q-railing, S-rail, Iona steels, and Century railings are making the best handrails in the world.
The Rest For A While staircase turns portions of the handrail into a resting area. For folks that get uninterested in mountain climbing flights of stairs. At the landing of each flight of stairs, the handrail extends downward into a makeshift seat with a backrest. It allows senior residents or human beings with disabilities to take a short break from mountaineering long flights of stairs. It’s an easy solution. That within the absence of elevators, offers human beings a well-deserved moment of respite to regather strength for the subsequent flight of stairs.
The ‘Rest For A While’ Staircase Handrail is a winner of the iF Design Award for the 12 months 2020.
