It was about a decade ago when 32GB pen drives were new and hugely popular. Also known as a USB Flash Drive, there were brands such as SanDisk, Transcend, Patriot, and Kingston. They can be found in places like Walmart or on Amazon. By definition, they hold a lot of information in a very small drive making it a portable savior. Of course it’s the best idea to have all of your files backed up on an external hard drive, like I did back in college. They all come varying in sizes such as 32gb, 64gb, and even 128gb. And for more current storage you can just use your convenient pen drive.
The Fledging Shell is just a bit bigger than my first 32GB thumb drive and it actually has the memory to hold up to 2 entire terabytes! I am not sure how tech savvy you are, but in tech world that is an insane amount of space to have on just a little stick. That’s 2,000gbs! My valuable external drive at home that doesn’t go anywhere is 2 terabytes, if that puts it into perspective.
This pen drive was created with an SSD in it and has universal compatibility. It can also transfer files at speeds of a gb per second without even warming up. It has an aluminum exterior to function as a heat sink and an internal cooling system integrated into the thumb drive. So the user has the ability to upload or transfer heavy files while not worrying that they are over heating the drive itself. Unlike many other SSDs, this one lets you open it up and customize it. Users can even switch to other different SSDs too! With its compact size and high performance, the Fledging Shell certainly is top of the line!
